1. What Yearbed is

Yearbed is a garden journal: beds, plantings, batch logs, harvests and a season history that stays yours across years. Sowing windows and frost dates come from tables bundled with the app and are all editable by hand; the dates you change are the ones that count. It identifies nothing, diagnoses nothing and waters nothing.

2. Who sells what

• WaveApp LLC makes Yearbed and licenses it to you.
• The Apple App Store or Google Play sells Pro and is the merchant for that payment. Payment, tax, renewal and refunds follow the store's rules; see the refund page.

3. Your licence

You may install and use Yearbed on devices you control, for your own garden. You must not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app, with store billing or with anyone else's device, and you must not use it to break the law. You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live and meet the store's age rating for the app.

4. Your content

• Everything you record stays yours. We claim no rights in it.
• Your journal never leaves your device. See the privacy page.
• A record you already created is never locked because you did not pay. Beds, plantings, history, batch logging and export are free, always.

5. Paying

• Free covers unlimited beds and plantings, the full season history, batch logging, and CSV and PDF export.
• Pro adds reminders and cross-season stats. It costs $29.99 per year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan, or $4.99 per month with no trial, or $79.99 once for lifetime. You are never billed by bed or plant count, and there is no weekly plan.
• The renewal price and date are shown before a trial starts, and the price on the store's checkout screen, in your currency, is the one that counts.
• A subscription renews under the store's rules until you cancel it there. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Restore purchase runs off the store receipt.

6. Bundled data

Hardiness zones carry the attribution "Data: USDA-ARS / Oregon State University PRISM Climate Group" and are not an official USDA map. Frost dates carry "Data: NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information". Species guidance is compiled from public university extension material, with OpenFarm (CC0) as a supplementary source. These lines are licence conditions; the data behind them is a starting point, not an authority.

7. Changes and availability

We will change features and prices only across releases, never inside one. We do not promise that the app is free of defects or always available; we do promise that an update never removes content you created. Capability given away on Free is never moved behind the paywall later.

8. Ending

You can stop using Yearbed at any time, export your journal and run "Delete everything". A purchase you already made stays with the store under its rules.

9. Warranty

Yearbed is provided as is. Sowing windows and frost dates are suggestions, not authority; a crop that failed is part of your history, not agronomic or medical advice. Where the law gives you a warranty we cannot exclude, that warranty stands.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, WaveApp LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data or a lost crop. Our total liability for anything connected to Yearbed is limited to what you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, as recorded by the store. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

11. Law and disputes

These terms follow the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections and courts of the place where you live still apply. Write to hello@yearbed.com first; most problems are settled by email.

12. Changes to these terms

We will tell you about a material change in the app's update notes before it takes effect. If one clause cannot be enforced, the rest stand.
